loup started out as a collaboration between friends brandon and john. they set out to write singer/songwriter songs with the influence of jazz. it eventually grew to a large ensemble with the addition of sam, kelsey, mike, and maggie. the group is mostly known for their complete control of dynamics, diverse instrumentation, beautiful melodies, and an intimacy that is unmatchable.
